“TECHNOVATION”
A Workshop on Technology and Innovative Teaching Tools

A three day workshop“ TECHNOVATION” was organized by Innovative Practice Club from27thJanuary 2022to 29thJanuary 2022 at1:00pm onwardson zoom meet. The main purpose of this event was to make B.Ed 1st semester students a perfect tech-savvy before they proceed further in their course. It was very well planned activity and many students voluntarily participated in this activity.
The Innovative Clubs' key goals are :-
- Provide students with the tools to be successful in their future education and career.
- Extend student learning beyond the walls of the classroom.
- Provide equal access to technology and tools to all students in order to provide equal opportunities for all students.
- To have great displays and opportunities for everyone.
- Prepare students to be safe, responsible and innovative digital citizens.
A google form was generated by the club members to learn about their students’ technological problems and to encourage them to acquire more knowledgeabout new technologies. The form listed several digital learning resources and softwares. Based on the overwhelming responses, the innovative club decided to organize “TECHNOVATION”.
The whole team of Innovative club members with the help of club coordinator Dr. Shraddha Vermama’am were present to organize the activity. The workshop was started by the motivating and stimulating words of Principal Dr.Kuldeep Dubey Sirand Vice Principal ma’am Dr. G. Padma Gouri.
On the first day of workshop,students learned about 'How to make power point presentation on laptop and mobile’ by Anup Sharma from 1st semester and KheminVermafrom 3rd semester respectively.On the second day of workshop, students learned about Zoom&Webex meeting App and Google meet by SwarnaLal from 3rd semester and SudeshnaChakraborty from 1nd semester respectively. And on the third day of workshop, students learned about Google Classroom, Google Form and CanavaApp by VarshaKamlani from 3rd semester, Anup Sharma from 1st semester and NafeesaNoor from 3rd semester respectively.
Students engaged in the activity with enthralled expressions and enquiring minds.As a token of recognition, the participants were given a certificate of appreciationon the completion of the assignments related to the workshop.Numerous positive responses and suggestionswere provided by the participants via a google feedback form generated by the club.
At the end of the event,Vice Principal ma'am Dr. G. Padma Gouri and Assistant ProfessorRamolaVikas Dan ma’amgave their positive opinionabout the activity and appreciated the club members for their hard work, determination and success.
As the workshop drew to a close, volunteers’ faces were filled with a sense of satisfaction. The team coordinator Dr. Shraddha Verma ma’am appreciated all those who participated in the activity and making it a huge success.
